Factory Aspen/Volare Motorhome found!

This looks to be a factory built motor home based on the Dodge Aspen/Plymouth Volare chassis. The section behind the front doors was made from fiberglass, probably added to provide support for the overhead bed section. There was no back seat, but there were 2 small jump-type seats, roll down side windows, and entry to the front car-cab was possible from the rear camper. The rear end was dual wheel, probably from a Dodge truck. This was a neat idea, you could use all kinds of factory parts: police package front suspension, 360 V8 and truck-rated tran, using mounts and springs that were designed for the Aspen/Volare special performance or police package models. Note the two different spares, as the front and back rims were not the same. This particular model was in excellent unmolested shape and had a typical 70's camper interior.
